It could be that the panel's exceptional brightness, at 395 nits, is what makes the colors pop so much. Even the displays on the Surface Pro 6 (136%) and the average premium laptop (130%) offer a wider range of colors. Competing devices have more vivid panels, including the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (128.4%) and the XPS 13 2-in-1 (113%).
